Our date for the JANUARY SHOW is set for Friday, January 15th at 7pm. This is an informal event designed to give every student an opportunity to "take the stage" and show off what they have been learning since September. Students will wear the studio's dress code, designated for their particular class, the evening of the show. Just like in class, students will need to have hair pulled up and away from their faces. Teachers will review all of this with the students. It will be held at South Hadley High School, and STUDENTS ARE ASKED TO BE THERE NO LATER THAN 6:30pm. (unless informed otherwise). Refreshments will be served at the end of the evening! Tickets for the show will go on sale on MONDAY, JANUARY 5th. Ticket prices are $6 for the public (students of the studio are free). We would like to make our annual donation to the local food pantry (at the time of this event, they are usually trying to recover from the holidays). If you bring a canned food donation in when you purchase your tickets, then your ticket price is reduced to $5.
WINTER PARKING: It can get tricky with the snow to park, and we thank you in advance for your patience in finding a spot. Please park on one side of Princeton Ave, the side closest to the studio. We do need to remind everyone not to use the driveways on Federal St as turnarounds. You can go the end fo Federal St and take a left, as that brings you back to Everett St and then back to East St. Owners are concerned about the safety of their families and have brought this to our attention. So, as we promised, and as good neighbors, we ask that you use care and do not use private driveways. We thank you in advance for your help in this matter.
MUSIC TOGETHER: Winter session starts Saturday, January 9th!
DANCE PERFORMANCE TRIP: We are getting a head start now on our next performance trip because it is going to be a very exciting event! The world-renowned Mark Morris Dance Group is coming to the UMass Fine Arts Center this February!! "It's not just dance at the highest level, but simultaneoulsy, concert-going at the highest level - a perfect blend of sound and movement, all happening in the moment." This concert takes place on Tuesday, February 2nd at 7:30pm. If you would like to join us, we will be organizing a carpool to the event, meeting at the studio and leaving by 6:45pm. We will provide you with sign-up forms in January, so keep an eye out for these if you are interested, or contact the office.
Mahajoy Laufer is planning to be here during our December break for a HIP-HOP MASTER CLASS - yahoo!! Please keep an eye on your email, for the day and time is still to be determined...
Happy Holidays and many blessings to you and your families!
Fondly,
Brooks & Mary Ann Holmes

Your order should be ready the following day.
5. ALL PERSONS ENTERING THE AUDITORIUM THE NIGHT OF THE PERFORMANCE MUST PRESENT A TICKET.
6. ALL PERSONS ENTERING THE AUDITORIUM ON DRESS REHEARSAL NIGHT MUST BE WEARING A WRISTBAND! The only people allowed in the auditorium with our performing students on dress rehearsal evening is a parent and young siblings. Anyone else would need to purchase a ticket. The reason being, in the past few years people other than parents and students have been coming to dress rehearsal night. This night is intended to be a quieter evening in the audience just for our students. Students and their parent will need to pick up their wristbands from the office by Monday, June 22nd.
7. NO PICTURE TAKING is allowed during performances. Last year it happened so frequently it needs to be noted. As we have said, it not only distracts and endangers performers, but also ruins the child's performance on video. Please be considerate and follow this long-standing policy.
8. VIDEOTAPING IS ONLY ALLOWED THE NIGHT OF DRESS REHEARSAL. There will be a professional videographer taping the nights of the performance. If you wish to order a video, please fill out form & return to the studio. (Checks payable ~ TBO Productions).

Students are to wear tights under all costumes. Jewelry is not allowed. Students with shoulder length hair to long hair must have their hair pulled up (braid, bun, etc.) unless specified otherwise by the instructor. NO GUM IS ALLOWED!
10. DRESSING ROOMS - Reminder that dressing rooms need to be kept clean! Students are responsible to pick up after themselves at the end of every evening. If this doesn't occur, students will be restricted on the following day as to what can be brought in. Also, a reminder that behavior in the dressing room will be monitored by our volunteers. Anyone who is not following the rules will be asked to have a parent with them at all times. Thanks to all in advance for your cooperation!!
11. SUPER TOTS PARENTS…..All parents need to bring their tots to the backstage/dressing room area. Parents can stay there until the child is done performing or may go to the auditorium to watch the performance, then return for them when they are finished performing.
We hope that you enjoy the convenience of having this recital at a facility with air conditioning, great seating and a large stage. It is a very comfortable auditorium. We hope you all enjoy the show!
Thank you for your cooperation!

It will be held at South Hadley High School. Students are asked to be there no later than 6:30 pm (unless informed otherwise). Refreshments will be served!
Tickets for the show will go on sale on Tuesday, January 6th. Ticket prices are $6 for the public (students of the studio are free). We would like to make our annual donation to the local food pantry. At the time of this event, they are usually trying to recover from the holidays. If you bring a canned food donation in when you purchase your tickets, then your ticket price is reduced to $5.
